The 3rd Annual DFL Barbecue and Horseshoe Tournament, Saturday will be August 21st. We'll be grilling out at DFL Headquarters in Saint Paul from 4:00pm - 9:00pm, and we hope you can join us.
Stop by for a burger, and stick around to watch the horseshoes fly as teams vie to take the Donkey-Shoe Master title away from last year's winners, the Electrical Workers. We're also having a silent auction, with items including an official Senate apron signed by Sen. Franken and Franni Franken, and a 2006 Humphrey Day Dinner program signed by President Obama.

Tuesday September 21st from 5-8PM- (Happy Hour Specials in effect until 6PM) in the private room called "Venezia" Appetizer buffet served about 6:15PM. It is $25 a head, for happy hour appetizers and cash bar.

Due to scheduling conflicts with a space and availability by members of the executive committee, we will not hold a Central Committee meeting this month. We may have a brief executive committee meeting at the upcoming Senate District picnic on Sunday.
This is verging on a success in just a very short while. People are actually coming to Mountain Mudd (Quebec Ave N and 42nd Ave N) at 8:30 on a Saturday morning just to discuss issues and politics. Hope to see you there whenever you can break away.
