Precinct caucuses will be held for the DFL on Tuesday, February 2, from 6 - 9 p.m. at Robbinsdale Middle School (36th Ave at Highway 100). The convention starts at 7 pm but doors open at 6pm.

Whereas the U.S. (and MN) has the most expensive health care system in the world in terms of absolute costs, per capita costs, and percentage of gross domestic product,
Whereas despite being first in spending, the World Health Organization has ranked the United States 37th among all nations in terms of meeting the needs of its people;
SD 45 DFL will hold its endorsing convention Saturday, March 13 at Robbinsdale Middle School.
Delegates elected at precinct caucuses will endorse candidates for State House Districts 45A and 45B and for State Senate District 45.
All three incumbents are seeking endorsement: Ann Rest for State Senate and Representatives Sandra Peterson (45A) and Lyn Carlson (45 B) for State House.
The convention will elect delegates to the state convention and also will award the Sharon D. Bobgan Volunteer Award for outstanding service to the DFL party. The award was established in 2006 to honor the memory of Sharon Bobgan of New Hope, a long time volunteer and leader in the DFL. party. Sharon passed away in 2006 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
