Lyn has been door knocking and dropping literature, and the reception has been very good.
As with every Carlson event, there will be food, fun, and fellowship.

We will go out on Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 10am. Volunteers can either door knock or lit drop. And of course, volunteers who can't make either of those times are welcome to contact Lois to make special arrangements.

Dear Friend,
Between the electricity coming from the convention in Denver and the excitement of the State Fair here in Minnesota, there's never been a better (or more important) time to join our campaign. The latest polls show a dead heat – and it's going to be your hard work that puts us over the top and sends Al to the U.S. Senate.
Here are three ways to get involved:
1. We want to knock on 300,000 doors in 16 days. That's 300,000 doors. And we need your help. If you've never door-knocked before, a good day to start might be Saturday, September 6. That's the day we're going to try to knock on 100,000 doors statewide. Al will help us kick it off with rallies in six different congressional districts before our twelve-hour door-knocking extravaganza!

Minnesota’s state primary election day (September 9) is quickly approaching. I am writing to you with information about your rights at the polls to ensure that your vote counts. This information is provided by the office of the Minnesota Secretary of State.
You can register to vote on the same day as the election. Before you can vote, you must register. In Minnesota, you may register before Election Day or on Election Day at your polling place. Your registration remains current until you move, change your name, or do not vote for four consecutive years. NOTE: you are required to provide proof of residence when registering on Election Day.
